Logistical instructions:

You should plan on arriving the day before the workshop begins.  The evening before we will have a welcome reception where you will have an opportunity to pick up your registration packet and boxes/supplies.

Victor is most conveniently reached via either the (JAC) Jackson, WY or (IDA) Idaho Falls, ID airports. Both are about an hour away from the studio (Pond Property).  In order to get to Victor you will need to rent a car.

Jackson Hole Airport is served by American, Delta/Skywest, Northwest, and United/United Express. Their website is jacksonholeairport.com.

The Idaho Falls Airport is served by Delta/Skywest, United Express, Horizon Air/Alaska, Allegiant and Northwest. 

The studio is located at: 9502 South 2000 West, Victor, ID 83455

Driving Instructions to Victor/Driggs and to Scott’s Workshop location are below.

From Jackson Hole, Wyoming: 

•           Exiting the airport, take a right on US-26 toward the town of Jackson.

•           Drive straight into town, see the “town square/elk antlers” on your left; take a right at the light which is Broadway.

•           Continue through town, take a right at major traffic light/intersection onto US-22 toward the town of Wilson (see Albertson’s grocery store on your left).

•           Go over the Snake River bridge and continue straight through the traffic light.

•           Go through the small town of Wilson, then up and over Teton Pass.

•           Once over Teton Pass, take a left onto 9500 South (the road by the “Teton Springs” yellow and brown billboard sign).

•           Take 9500 South straight (go past Teton Springs golf resort on your left).  It’s a total of approximately (2) miles to the property.

•           Go through first stop sign (1000 West), the paved road turns to a dirt road.  Continue straight to next stop sign (2000 West).  DO NOT TURN left or right, drive straight onto the property.  You will see a birdhouse mailbox, Scott’s new studio (red windows) and the parking area.

From Idaho Falls, Idaho:

•           Start out going South on N. Skyline Drive toward Federal Way.

•           Turn left onto Grandview Drive; stay straight to go onto US-20 E.

•           Take the Science Center Drive exit.

•           Keep right at the fork to go on Science Center Drive.

•           Science Center Drive becomes E. Anderson Street.

•           Turn slight left onto N. Yellowstone Hwy/ US-26.  Continue following US-26 approximately 41 miles.

•           At junction, take a left onto ID-31 (see gas station/store).

•           Continue on ID-31 over Pine Creek Pass to Victor.

•           As you come over Pine Creek Pass  you will hit 2000 West, make a right hand turn.  You will see a veterinary clinic on the left side of the street.

•           Follow 2000 West until you reach the intersection with 9500 South.  The driveway to the studio is immediately to your right.

We highly recommend renting a car, but if you are meeting a fellow artist here who has a car, you may want to contact All Trans at 800.652.9510.  They shuttle to and from the Idaho Falls airport each day at 2:30 pm. and arrive in Victor at 4:00 pm  You must make a reservation.  There are cabs available in the Victor/Driggs area.  You may contact them at 208.525.8344.
